Question mark Why is my program not available for streaming download?
Selected programs are made available for streaming download—that is, viewers are able to watch them through an Internet connection in a browser such as Microsoft's Internet Explorer. Unfortunately, because UWTV is a non-profit media service, not every program is elected to be available for streaming due to the budget constraints of each university department.

Question mark Why am I unable to view streaming media or the live webcast?
If you are having difficulties watching UWTV streaming files, please be sure you have selected the appropriate speed for your Internet connection. Choosing the incorrect speed can cause lags or interruptions in the video, or prevent the video from displaying at all. Please review the requirements for the specifc UWTV viewing speeds in our Help section.

Question mark What happens in the event of an Emergency Broadcast Interruption of UWTV programming ?
Occasionally Comcast will add a crawl across the screen instructing Puget Sound viewers to obtain emergency alert information by tuning to channel 27 (UWTV). This emergency notification system is managed by Comcast, and UWTV does not have the ability to override these messages. If you experience such an interruption, please contact Comcast directly for help regarding this issue. Call toll free: (877) 824-2288.
