Invasive Species in the Pacific Northwest, Part 2
In part two of a two-part series, experts in wildlife biology, entomology, and environmental law and policy discuss the need for managing invasive species to preserve and restore habitats. The impact of non-native and exotic plant and insect species is explored through current research projects involving invasive bird species, West Nile virus, biological control of Spartina in Willapa Bay, and processes for regulating invasive species by the Washington State Department of Agriculture.
