UW Independent Filmmaking University of Washington Extension offers a certificate program in independent filmmaking. The program is designed for aspiring professionals or serious amateurs, who learn how to write, produce and edit independent films. The collection of short films in this series showcases the work of students in the 2004 and 2005 program and features topics that include: perception disorders, geological wonders, community activists, and Internet scamming known as “phishing.”
